The Nam Phi Phra Kham and Takrut Ittirit by Ajarn Apichai
We are currently exploring what can be done with the Phra Kham beads that are used to count kata, as counting is particularly important at this time. The beads are made from Lek Nam Phi and as with all good Phra Kham are considered to have the power for healing and protection from all negative forces. Lek Nam Phi is THE classic iron based ore in Thailand that has been used in bead, knives and swords for a millennia. These came as Phra Kham beads that were lacquered to keep the hands clean and making them into 36 bead strings makes them easy to use. The Takrut carries the Heart kata 108 and the Ittirit Heart kata to boost the power from every part of your body. These are a source of power, and when you praise these beads they will boost your power within, and the power of the four elements.
Great for using for meditation as it eases the passage in to samathi and quickly boost the capability to hold magic power within, bring health and also an awareness of the movement of energy in the body. The kata that comes with this is also the one used for people with Sak Yant as it makes us sturdy, healthier and boosts the elements.
These are in strings of 36 (so 3 rounds make 108) that both have a kata to boost your magic and be used for the counting of other kata. It goes on the deity altar when not being worn. The beads are a comfortable size in the hand and they glide easily to both count kata, and say the 108 kata that comes with these.
